Overview

A web-connected smart shelf system that improves accessibility in community pantries by tracking real-time inventory. As project manager and mechanical design engineer, I led a five-person team integrating mechanical, electrical, and digital design goals into a functional prototype that was awarded Best in Section at the CU Engineering Fall Design Expo.

My role

I led the mechanical design using CAD modeling and prototyping to develop the physical system. I collaborated with the five-person team to integrate mechanical, electrical, and digital design goals, conducting testing and iteration to improve durability, compatibility, and assembly efficiency.
